Venus Ultra believes ultrasounds should feel like a moment of celebration and care, where every scan is a moment to cherish. We combine advancing imaging with a gentle, personal approach. At the crux of Venus Ultra is an impact driven social enterprise geared towards women's maternal health reform in Nigeria. According to WHO in 2020, approximately 800 women per day died in Nigeria from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth. A study in Northern Nigeria of limited obstetric ultrasound services within primary health centres found that when ultrasound access improved, neonatal mortality rate was reduced by 36%.  Our goal is to set up weekly scanning days at local general hospitals to allow women who do not receive access to ultrasounds multiple scans per pregnacy - by Q3 of 2026 using a percentage of the profits from our private facility.
